I tried flattening my photoshop images, but that didn't work. I know all software has issues, but I've had many of these with FCP, and I have 95% decided to shift totally to Premiere (bought the software, and started doing simple FCP 7... Converting the currupt file to ProRes solved my issues. Thankfully, here are a bunch of tips on how to do that. 1) NEVER edit in h.264 or any other compressed format. I'd brake it down a bit. SO I'm wondering what is it a bout sequences and projects that make them large.

Have found that if you get the message, flushing some render files using Tools->Render Manager can free up enough memory to get you going again.

Moving the project to another system caused the render / memory issue.

It could also include CMYK images or image files larger than 4000 pixels in width or height.
